What is Remote Data Logging?

Remote data logging means the collecting, storing and processing of sensor measurements in locations that are generally inaccessible.  These data loggers may be network detached, and store large quantities of data for manual retrieval, or may have a method to make that data available, either through radio or satellite links.

Remote data logging in some areas can be especially difficult.  These installations could be for water level monitoring in a isolated valley or monitoring environmental conditions for offshore marine farms - remote sites like these would commonly lack cellular coverage.  The WTE TReX, provides remote data logging options, and combined with high power radio links - remote data can be shifted from locations that others struggle to reach without the need for access to the site.​
