Paging Systems - For Reliable Critical Messaging.
The WTE TReX is an ideal device for in-house paging systems. Health care providers can rely on the ease of messaging and ability to "hand-over" responsibility between staff and keep their work "at work".
The TReX can be driven directly from your system to send paging messages using a wide variety of supported protocols. Can be used to not only transmit and receive messages, but also to forward the messages onto another TReX unit for re-transmitting for improved coverage. Designed to be robust and easily deployed, saving you money and time commissioning your paging system. The TReX includes an optional spectrum analyzer for site analysis. This can be used to inspect potential sources of radio interference. The antenna mismatch and fault detection features can be used to provide early notification of system faults and/or installation issues. Single TReX Transmitter sending POCSAG paging messages There are several ways to easy interact with the TReX:
DMR Messaging The TReX Supports transmission of DMR tier 1 messages. This means that staff can carry DMR voice radios and receive messages directly on the radio or using legacy POCSAG pagers. TReX Flex™ and POCSAG decoding and content filtering The TReX Supports decoding Flex and POCSAG messages. The TReX can act upon receiving a message from a specific CAP/RIC code or part of a message text; this can be programmed to trigger an output or forwarding the message to other sources, such as serial or TCP connections. This filtering system can reduce the number of receive and processed messages, ignoring the messages such as periodic or control messages. The filter is divided into:

Use the TReX with a wide range of protocol interpreters and/or use own configured custom protocol. The TReX is flexible and easy to deploy, making connection to your own system fast and simple. Rural Firefighter Crew Call
The TReX can decode messages from Flex™ and re-transmit as POCSAG on different frequency in provide "In-Fill" systems in poor coverage areas. This cross-talk network can be a useful tool for deployment of local/rural fire fighters. Simultaneously if required, groups can be assigned to a single button input on the TReX to allow a "call-out" to a specific group with a single action. e.g. A crew call push button panel Coasters for Restaurant and Queue Systems
Paging is for more than just for Health Care. Paging messages can be used in many other systems, from restaurant queue paging coasters to elaborate synchronised school bells and message boards, with the benefits of long range transmissions that are reliable, robust and low cost. |
