​MReX-PCIe Swarm M138 Alternative

The MReX-PCIe is a new product that provides an alternative the SWARM M138 PCIe satellite modem. The MReX-PCIe is a UHF radio transceiver modem that communicates with WTE products including the TReX-460 IoT gateway, which provides free and fast data transmission for remote applications.

Features

• The MReX-PCIe has the same form factor, connector and pinout as the SWARM-M138 allowing you to easily replace the M138 modem.
• The MReX-PCIe is compatible with the SWARM-M138 command set, so you can use your existing software and hardware with no or minimal changes.
• The MReX-PCIe does not require a satellite service, which means no monthly fees, no waiting for satellite passes, and no signal interference from weather or terrain.
• The MReX-PCIe has lower power consumption than the SWARM M138, which reduces the system requirements and installation costs.
• The MReX-PCIe allows you to test your system on your development desk, without the need for long cables and specialized antennas. You can send and receive messages inside your office and reduce the field testing time.
• The MReX-PCIe transmission range is dependent on terrain and installation, in some cases exceeding 10km. Repeaters can be used to extend range and cope with large areas or locations with difficult signal coverage.
