WTE MT-RX-3 Mini Product Summary

The WTE-MT-RX-3-Mini is a compact, multi-band receiver designed to decode emergency beacon transmissions and AIS vessel signals, enabling rapid rescue responses and supporting maritime monitoring operations. In its standard configuration, the receiver is set up to serially output data from 406 MHz beacons and AIS traffic. It also supports continuous monitoring of all nearby AIS transmissions or specific configured signals, such as those on 121.5 MHz.
Weighing just 17 grams, this is the smallest and lightest multiband receiver available in its class.
The unit is supplied as a bare PCB and incorporates many of the features of our well-established MT-RX-3 alerting receiver. An optional display and configuration board can be fitted if required or omitted to minimise weight.

• Output of all first generation 406 beacon transmissions on all used 406 beacon frequencies.
• ​Serial output of all AIS transmissions on both AIS channels.
• Configuration via USB connection, serial command, direct SD card editing, or the optional display board.
• Built-in spectrum analyser  across 121–449 MHz, usable when display board fitted.
• Signal strength tools for homing and direction finding using a directional antenna.
• Peak signal hold feature captures brief 406 MHz transmissions, even without a 121.5 MHz homing signal.
• Ultra-lightweight and compact — ideal for weight-critical applications such as small search and rescue drones.
• Simple system integration with u.FL antenna connector and RS232 serial port.
